Workout Before and After Weight Loss
If you’re anything like me, when you workout before and after pictures can look quite exciting. But if you’re like me, they can also be quite alarming because they show you how much fat you’ve lost in a very short time. It’s great to be able to see the results of your hard work in very quick time, but sometimes it can look a lot more like a battle between you and gravity than a proud display of your hard work. You’ve just lost too much weight!
Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that you should give up your goal of how to lose weight or that you shouldn’t try to lose weight. In fact, I encourage you to do just that. It’s just that sometimes the process of losing fat can actually be killing you before your body even realizes what’s going on.
This is why I recommend doing a workout before and after picture. I know that it may sound silly and basic, but it works. I know because I used to be overweight. And since I started working out, I’ve lost over one hundred pounds and kept it off. You can do the same thing if you really want to lose weight. All you need is a little motivation, a solid workout plan and a diet that support your goal.
So why exactly should you workout before and after you lose all that weight? Well for starters, it will make your muscles look great. This is the whole point of weight loss. If you’ve lost a bunch of fat but your muscles are just as skinny as they were before, you won’t see the amazing results you were hoping to achieve.
Secondly, working out makes you feel better. There is absolutely nothing better than a good, intense workout. It helps you push yourself beyond your limits and really push yourself to the edge. Plus you will get some incredible feelings like when you perform at your best.
Thirdly, it improves your immune system. Working out has been proven to help prevent sickness and even slow down the effects of aging. By shedding a few pounds of weight, you improve your health and you’re much less likely to get sick from weight loss related issues.
Fourthly, you are more productive in your everyday life. You’re more alert and focused. This means that you get more done during each day. You’re able to accomplish more. This is great in both your personal and professional life. It also has an enormous impact on your happiness and general well being.
You can use these four reasons to workout before and after you lose weight. They are all incredibly valid reasons to put forth the effort to do so. Just remember that they are a guide, not an absolute rule. Still, if you follow them, you will see good results. The better you feel, the better you can do!
In addition, remember that your body is miraculous. Don’t think that you have to give up certain things to lose weight. A balanced diet and a vigorous workout plan will go a long way to keep your body in tiptop shape. You will also find it much easier to maintain a healthy weight after you lose weight.
Finally, you’ll be happier after you workout. If you’re doing the right exercises and you’re not stressing yourself out at the gym, you will be significantly happier. Even people who love exercise will admit that once they’re tired and sore, they’re just as happy as they were before they began.
You have a host of options for how to workout before and after you lose weight. Some people do their workouts on an elliptical machine or treadmill. Some people choose to cycle in their local neighborhood. Others may enjoy water aerobics classes or yoga. Whatever you do, make sure to do your workouts properly and efficiently so that you will see the greatest results possible.
